Gourock Fitness Gym @ Battery Park

The Gourock Fitness Gym has temporarily transferred to Battery Park Pavilion, in order to make way for the exciting project which will see the Gym at Gourock Pool totally rebuilt and become a state of the art fitness facility.

Customers can still de-stress as you exercise away, but will be able to enjoy spectacular views from the Gym at Battery Park, which was missing at Gourock due to the lack of windows.

This fitness gym has all the usual equipment you will find in our other gyms including Treadmills, Cross Trainer, Steppers, Cycles, Recumbent Cycles and Rowers.

We have also added TRX to the Gym.  More info can be downloaded on the right hand side.

Albeit one of our smaller gyms there is still more than sufficient equipment for a Total Body Workout.

Personal fitness programmes for weight loss, weight gain, endurance, strength, and flexibility can be designed by our qualified friendly staff.  Regular programme reviews to ensure you are working at your optimum level are performed regularly and on request. 

Watch and listen to your favourite TV programmes with our cardio theatre built in to our fitness equipment.

Staff are looking to utilise the temporary location for customers benefit, and have started Jogging Group and Bootcamp classes.

Battery Park Boot Camp

Inverclyde Leisure introduces its first Boot Camp based class at the Battery Park. Participants can look forward to a full body work out that will make use of various exercises using sandbags, tyres, kettlebells and your own bodyweight while battling against the elements that the West Coast of Scotland brings. The class is targeted for all levels of fitness but as it is a boot camp class, participants will be encouraged to go past their normal level of comfort.

Classes are on Wednesday 1pm-2pm and Thursday 6pm-7pm (Thursday class starts on 7th April)
