Situated within the Battery Park, Inverclyde Leisure's facilities include an all weather floodlit 3rd Generation field turf - a full pitch which converts to three 7-a-side football pitches, a sheltered spectating area and eight spacious changing rooms with toilets.

As well as offering a football provision the Battery Park is pleased to house Gourock Fitness Gym until they are relocated to Gourock Outdoor Pool after the £2million investment to upgrade the facilities. The Fitness Gym has a range of Cardio Vascular and Resistance equipment and is staffed by qualified instructors who can arrange to give you a full induction and prepare a fitness programmes for you to work to. The advantage of this new location is the spectacular views across the firth of Clyde and surrounding areas. BATTERY PARK BOOT CAMP

This class was designed and developed to incorporate fitness, motivation and to create an exciting challenge for those looking to add something new and fun to their workouts. Influenced by training used in the military and martial arts, the routines are simple, effective and rewarding. Located within the Battery Park, one of the most scenic parts in the west of Scotland, there is limitless space to throw, carry, drag and swing objects without being confined or restricted! Alleviate energy, stress, frustration and boredom with like minded Boot campers of all fitness levels.
Strength, speed, power, endurance, cardio, toning and burning fat is all incorporated in games, challenges and relays, work alone, with a partner or part of a team to complete the hour class and achieve physical and mental wellbeing.
From car tires, to sand bags, medicine balls and your bodyweight, you will be constantly pushed to work hard and use these objects as serious fitness tools, but in a way that’s enjoyable and rewarding for any goals you may have.
Every session is different with fun new exercises and weekly designed class plans, deliberately changed to keep the body and mind guessing and keep you curious as to what the next class will involve!"

The pavilion also has a cafe which is operated by Jayne and John who will welcome you on each visit. The cafe is open all year round and provides a variety of hot and cold snacks.

We are also pleased to welcome Beth McVey who operates Perfect Indulgence to the Battery Park.   The therapy suite is a tranquil place to receive Holistic treatments and there is a full range available. For more information contact Beth direct on 07730 573239

There are also well-maintained public toilets with baby changing and disabled access, ample car parking and a children's adventure play area housed on sand.
